Sling Money (Avian Labs)
the afri-CAN group has formed a partnership with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in The Netherlands (SwissCham NL) to promote Avian Labs´ Sling Money payment system across West Africa. SwissCham NL is the main partner of this contract.
As Ambassador representing SwissCham NL in Business Development across Africa, Mr. Aaron Boakye-Danquah, also President of the afri-CAN group aims to leverage the expertise and network of both organisations to push the growth of Sling Money transfers across the sub region.
Bamboo Exports to Europe
In September, 2024, a partnership between the Germany based Agri-business corportation VE-Comedus UG and the afri-CAN group was finally closed, leading to huge economic prospects for both organisations.
Addressing the media in a press release organised by the afri-CAN group on Monday 16th of September, Mr. Michael Nana Sasu, COO of the afri-CAN group highlighted various details covering this strategic collaboration. He stated that this project would go a long way to empower local communities as well as better the livelihoods of bamboo farmers and producers in Ghana.
This collaboration will see an annual export capacity of over 500 metric tons of Bamboos from Ghana to Europe, which is anticipated to rake in tremendous net returns of about 5 million Ghs to the organization and farming communities.
